The Science Guy (note, I’m not that funny guy on TV with the bow-tie), is simply the screen name I chose that best highlights what this blog is all about. I am the parent of two young kids who I’m trying to get interested in science. I’m always looking for cool, fun scientific things to do with them and decided to create a blog to write about some of the projects we’ve done. Some of the projects we’ve done completely from scratch and some we’ve done from kits. In the end, if they’ve had fun and learned something, I’m all for it.
I plan to use this site to review some of the educational toys and science kits we’ve played with and to reference some of the experiments we’ve done using nothing but readily available household items.
